Libya is currently passing through a fragile political and security situation. In view of the deteriorating security situation, the Embassy issued several advisories for the Indian nationals to leave the country. From August 2014 around 3754 Indian nationals were evacuated from Libya. The Mission has been temporarily relocated in D’jerba (Tunisia) with skeleton staff deployed on rotation to Tripoli.
