Global Online Yoga Session Sets Guinness World Record
The Ministry of Ayush successfully organised a global online yoga session under the theme ‘Yoga for Healthy Ageing’ in association with MDNIY and Habuild.
The session has set a new Guinness World Record for the highest number of viewers on a YouTube Live yoga stream, highlighting the growing global acceptance of yoga and its message of health, well-being, and unity.
This historic achievement was announced by the Hon'ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav.
The programme was attended by Union Ministers Shri @mansukhmandviya, Shri @kiren.rijiju, Shri Suresh Gopi, and Shri @dr.sukantabjp, along with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri @drmohanyadav51; the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri @ps_tamanggolay; the Hon'ble Minister of Odisha, Shri Mahilang Mukesh; Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha; Joint Secretary, Ms. Monalisa Dash; and other senior officials of the Ministry.
