Ambassador Visits Libyan Iron & Steel Company to Strengthen Industrial Cooperation
Libyan Iron & Steel Company (LISCO), a leading State-owned company situated in Misrata, has commenced commercial steel and iron production since 1989. LISCO has partnered sith several Indian companies since its inception. Currently, First Global Engineering, Dastur, Everett and ELTEAM are associated with LISCO in different capacities. Over 500 Indian workforce is workinv with LISCO. Ambassador Dr. Hifzur Rahman met the Chairman and Board of Directors on 10.5.2026 and discussed the welfare of Indian workers and avenues of further expanding collaboration with India in related fields.
